Botulinum toxin therapy and deep brain stimulation have revolutionized their therapy. However, there are considerable unmet therapeutical needs. With this meeting we wanted to advance existent therapies, improve their differential use and stimulate research in new therapeutic approaches. With an attendence of more than 450 participants from more than 40 countries, this meeting served as an open platform for all of us who collaborate to improve the future of patients with dystonia.
