A series of new coordination polymers [{Ln(H2O)3)}{Re6Se8(CN)6}]·3.5H2O based on paramagnetic cluster anions [Re6Se8(CN)6]3− and rare earth metal cations has been prepared. The compounds with Ln = Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu are isostructural and crystallize in P21/c space group with the following unit cell parameters: a ≈ 8.8 Å, b ≈ 13.8 Å, c ≈ 23.2 Å, β ≈ 90.5°, V ≈ 2820 Å3, Z = 4. Topologic analysis of the polymeric framework observed in the compounds and its comparison with known mononuclear cyanometallates was performed.
