Describes BSP recommendations for the implementation of the 2017 classification of periodontal diseases and conditions in UK dental practice.Illustrates a diagnostic pathway for patients with dental biofilm-induced periodontitis, building on the BPE.Describes grading and staging of periodontitis and assessment of current periodontal status to reach a diagnostic statement.
