摘要
The influence of a strong inhomogeneous magnetic field of a magnet-polarizer on the longitudinal relaxation time T1 of a flowing liquid is investigated. The increased inhomogeneity of this field causes T 1 to decrease. The magnitude of the polarizer field and its inhomogeneity exhibit an optimum whose criteria are the signal/noise ratio in a system for registering the signal of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), the mass, and the overall dimensions of the device. ©1999 Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers.
