摘要
In recent years, the plans for creating new cities have been executed in many parts of Iran, aiming to provide shelter and minimize centralism. However, no comprehensive research has been conducted on the variables dealing with place attachment (PA) and community participation (CP) in these spaces. Thus, the present study attempts to pursue this goal, embarking on the use of structural equation modelling (SEM) to test a model of correlation on residents of Sadra, Iran. The survey was conducted on 604 respondents from Sadra Phase 1, and collected data were analyzed through SEM. The results indicated proper goodness of fit for the model, and the positively meaningful effect of PA on CP was also confirmed.
