Experimental method for characterizing the thermal resistance of laser materials

摘要
Static temperature gradient method has been developed for determining the thermal resistance of laser materials. The scheme of the method is maximally close to actual conditions under which the laser active element operates. The method has been tested on glass and crystalline specimens. The results of the thermal-resistance tests based on the new method are compared to those obtained by the standard thermal-shock method. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2007.
