摘要:
A case of eccrine spiradenoma of the thumb in a 34-year old woman is reported. The lesion presented as a nontender and multilobulated mass near the carpometacarpal joint. Macroscopically the mass mimicked a lipoma. Eccrine spiradenoma is a benign sweat gland tumor occurring rarely in the hand. Since there are no typical signs or symptoms of this tumor, the diagnosis is often missed. The treatment of choice is complete resection. Those tumors have a potential for malignant transformation and careful follow-up is recommended.
