Examples are presented to illustrate the high-speed drilling of small-diameter holes (up to 10 mm) by core flat drills: holes (diameter 7 mm) in a discharge valve; and the drilling two-part holes consisting of a cylindrical section (diameter 3.8 mm) and conical section (base diameter 10 mm) in a metal housing. © 2016, Allerton Press, Inc.
