摘要
Abstract: The sensitivities of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy and quadrupole mass spectrometry are compared to determine the deuterium retained in titanium films using a nanosecond Nd:YAG laser. Simultaneous measurements are made in the 1–18 J cm−2 range of energy densities. Considerably higher sensitivity of mass spectrometry is revealed, along with the possibility of non-destructive analysis at low energy densities. © 2022, Allerton Press, Inc.
