Strong Renormalization of Phonon Frequencies in Superconducting MgB2 and Related Compounds

摘要
We report on recent Raman- and inelastic neutron scattering measurements on Mg1−xAlxB2, LiBC and TMB2 (TM=transition metal). All materials crystallize in the AlB2 structure and show in particular for MgB2 a pronounced anharmonic behavior for the high energy in-plane boron mode. Part of our analysis are “ab initio” calculations.
