Giant panda protection: urgent need for substantial action

Although great efforts have been made over several decades, habitat fragmentation has continually threatened the survival of giant pandas. Here, we describe the habitat fragmentation problem and provide suggestions on how to address it as well as discussing the key issues worthy of consideration from previous giant panda protection efforts.
