The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is becoming a more attractive tourist destination with a significant increase in the number of tourists and overnight stays. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the presence of Legionella spp. in tourist facilities of FB&H. The aim is to point out the growing trend of the presence of Legionella spp. and to investigate the connection of environmental factors, temperature, and chlorine as disinfectants, with the occurrence of these bacteria in the water systems of tourist and public facilities.
