Effective Spin Hamiltonian for High-Temperature Superconductors

摘要
An effective spin Hamiltonian for the two-band Hubbard model of the high-Tc materials is derived by a canonical transformation that was calculated and summed up to infinite order. The spin interaction is obtained to be of Kondo type rather than t–J. We also discuss briefly the impact of the obtained result on understanding the spin gap.
