Abstract: The environmental impact of products is assessed over the complete life cycle. The proposed approach to impact assessment takes account of all the potential hazards at the manufacturing, operational, and disposal stages. The proposed method permits the creation of a tool such that the environmental impact of products over the whole life cycle may be predicted at the design stage. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
