摘要
This article is dedicated to the study of several metabolic syndrome components in elderly women with coronary heart disease (CHD) and arterial hypertension. The majority of the female patients were found to have visceral obesity, predominantly in a mild form, and dyslipidemia, which was characterized by elevated levels of the atherogenic fractions in the absence of significant changes in the high-density lipoprotein (HDL) level, while carbohydrate metabolic disorders were recorded in almost half of the subjects. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2012.
