We study the boundary value problem for the radiative transfer equation with diffuse reflection and refraction conditions. We prove the continuous dependence of the solution on the data and show that the resolving operator of the conjugate problem A∗ d is the adjoint of the resolving operator of the original problem Ad and A∗ d = UAdU, where Uf(ω,x) = f (-ω,x).
