Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Discrete Quantum Baker Map and Chen Hyperchaotic System

As a crucial part of network security, image encryption is of significance to ensure information security. Quantum image encryption algorithms have become research hotspots accounting of their superior performance compared to traditional algorithms. In this work, a quantum image encryption algorithm based on discrete quantum Baker map and Chen hyperchaotic system is proposed. The color digital image is firstly represented by NEQR model and then block scrambled by Baker map. Next, the index-order scrambling method is used to further scramble the rows and columns of the image, respectively. The ciphertext image is finally achieved through diffusion by quantum XOR operation. Numerical simulations and theoretical analysis demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has a huge key space, certain robustness and high-efficient performance.
