This paper aims to address the issue of event-driven control of nonlinear switched systems with a saturated control input and time-varying delays. Some sufficient linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions are derived by combining multiple Lyapunov–Krasovskii functions (MLKF) and the average dwell time (ADT) technique to ensure the global exponential stability of the closed-loop switched system. Meanwhile, to eliminate the Zeno phenomenon, we verify that under the given sampling strategy, the minimum inter-event time (MIET) always has a positive lower bound. Hence, avoiding the infinite number of samples in finite-time intervals, a simulation example using a state-feedback approach is finally presented to support the obtained results.
