Abstract: An algorithm is proposed for calculating a closed hydraulic system consisting of a pump and a hydraulic motor. As an example, the hydraulic system of a wind turbine is considered. The calculation is based on the method used for the hydraulic system of mobile machines. The basic characteristics of the system components are analyzed. Factors of importance in selecting the initial data for the calculation, the working fluid, and the diameter of the hydraulic lines are identified. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
