Argues that there is no place for carbonated drinks, neither sugared nor sugar free, in a healthy diet.Suggests the proposed levy on sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) is welcome as a potential contributor to better dental health.Proposes that influences such as the Common Agricultural Policy and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership may negate the dental benefits of the sugar levy.
