This article provides an overview of the presentations given by the representatives of certain companies and metallurgical plants at the VII International Symposium on the Desulfurization of Pig Iron and Steel. The presenters examined the following issues: the equipment, technologies, and desulfurizing agents used to treat pig iron and steel at different stages of the production process.
