Universal dependence of the critical current in ceramic high-temperature superconductors

摘要：
An expression for the critical current in a ceramic sample having a rectangular cross section is derived from experimental data. It is shown that the dependence of the critical current on the cross-sectional area is described by a formula common to all cross sections and the relationship between the relative current and relative cross-sectional area is universal.
