Thermally stimulated luminescence of yttrium oxide in a transparent dielectric medium

摘要：
The thermally stimulated luminescence of Y2O3 in contact with a dielectric is investigated. The measurements were carried out in an atmosphere of dry air, in glycerol, ethylene glycol, and water. Shifting of the spectrum of thermally stimulated luminescence and decrease in the luminescence intensity with an increase in the dielectric constant of the medium were revealed. A discussion of the results is presented.
