The phase composition, structure, and properties of high-strength cast iron are investigated as a function of the heat treatment. The influence of heat treatment on the wear of bainitic iron with globular graphite is also considered, in comparison with steel for the production of cast plowshares. © 2013 Allerton Press, Inc.
