A new family of EAQMDS codes constructed from constacyclic codes

In this paper, a family of new entanglement-assisted quantum error-correcting codes (EAQECCs) is constructed from constacyclic codes with length n=q2+1a\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$n=\frac{q^2+1}{a}$$\end{document} by giving a new method to select defining sets, where a=m2+1\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$a=m^2+1$$\end{document}, m>2\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$m>2$$\end{document} is even and q is an odd prime power with a∣(q±m)\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$a\mid (q\pm m)$$\end{document}. It is worth pointing out that those EAQECCs are entanglement-assisted quantum maximum distance separable (EAQMDS) codes when d≤n+22\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$d\le \frac{n+2}{2}$$\end{document}. All of them are new in the sense that their parameters are not covered by the previously known ones. Moreover, they have minimum distance larger than q+1\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$q+1$$\end{document}. Compared with the codes with the same length listed in Table 1, our codes have larger minimum distance.
