摘要：

Experimental verification of aluminothermal reduction of silica by a complex carbon-and-aluminum reducing agent and production of an abrasive material consisting of silicon carbide and corundum is carried out. The composition and physicomechanical characteristics of the resulting product in free form and in grinding tools are analyzed.
