We apply the integral equation method to the diffraction of a waveguide wave on an impedance inductive cylinder in a rectangular waveguide. The Green’s function determining the kernel of the relevant integral equation is constructed for a plane waveguide using the reflection method and the Poisson transform. © 2021, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
