This paper presents a new Fourier series form probability density function (PDF) for the phase of the received signal over gamma shadowed Nakagami-m fading channel with additive Gaussian noise. This PDF is further used to evaluate the average symbol-error probability of M-ary CPSK. An alternative new closed-form expression for bit error-rate of binary CPSK is also derived and numerically compared with the corresponding result based on the Fourier series form phase PDF. We show that the two expressions are indeed numerically equivalent.
