Abstract: Problems arising in constructing a three-dimensional structure and determining the accuracy of assembly are considered for the example of a hub unit for a simple general-purpose trailer. Dimensional analysis is applied to the assembly process. To illustrate the issues involved, the assembly of a hub unit of a general-purpose trailer is discussed. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
