摘要
Regeneration of a spent iron-molybdenum catalyst for partial oxidation of methanol to formaldehyde was studied. A stage-by-stage dissolution of molybdenum and iron oxides in solutions of ammonia and weak nitric acid, respectively, is suggested. A dependence of the catalyst composition on the pH of the medium and temperature and its effect on the catalyst properties in the reaction of methanol oxidation to formaldehyde was revealed.
