This article of the journal Gruppe. Interaktion. Organisation. (GIO) is an attempt to outline an ethics that can provide answers and help for coping with life in uncertain times. It is assumed that fixed moral codes are of little help. Rather, it is important to avoid stipulations-including those of one's own identity-in order to enable creative responses to current and future challenges. In this ethics, which is based on a successful life in a just society, responsibility, play and care form the basic dimensions. In order to justify a corresponding ethic competence, the orientation towards the traditional unity of the truth, good and beauty is reinterpreted for modern conditions.
