摘要
The introduction of aggressive alien plant species into natural communities is often accompanied by oppression and replacement of native plant species. The study of the biology and ecology of invasive species is nessessary to take preventive measures against their expansion. Oenothera biennis L. is a European invasive species which is included in the Black Data Book of Central Russia. It is known in 12 of 23 administrative districts of the Republic of Mordovia. In the area under study, Oenothera biennis prefers light textured soils such as sandy, loamy, gravelly soils and alluvium in river floodplains. Seeds of Oenothera biennis are of an intermediate dominance type. They have better germination on sandy substrates and the worst germination on loamy substrates. The increase in temperature reduces the period seed energy of registration from 6 to 4-5 days. In the Republic of Mordovia, the seed mass is less than in conditions of the native range. © 2014 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
