Some people who look fit can have a hidden disability and/or complex medical condition which will impact on the delivery of dental care.Among such conditions are epilepsy, latex sensitivity, bisphosphonate-associated osteonecrosis of the jaw and bleeding disorders.The importance of careful medical history-taking to identify hidden conditions cannot be over-emphasised.
