We study the effect of unentangled states with nonzero discord on Quantum Stackelberg duopoly game (QSD). We show that the initial state parameter and quantum discord will cause remarkable change in the Nash equilibrium of the QSD game and the profits of the two players. We also find that under certain conditions there is a ‘specific point’ of the initial state parameter and quantum discord. The two players have the same moves and payoffs at the ‘specific point’. The QSD game can switch between the first-mover advantage game and the follower-mover advantage game when the initial state parameter and quantum discord varies from the left-hand-side regime of the ‘specific point’ to the right-hand-side regime.
