Age structure and linear growth rate of the population of ide Leuciscus idus (Linnaeus, 1788) in the Kuibyshev Reservoir in 2004–2005

For the first time over the past 50 years, an analysis of the size composition, age structure, and linear population growth of ide in the Kuibyshev Reservoir has been made. The increase in the growth rates of young ide has been recorded in the reservoir when compared with the river conditions at the initial stage of existence of the reservoir.
