Abstract: This article analyzes the state of funding innovation at enterprises of St. Petersburg by groups of enterprises of different technological levels. Factors affecting the formation of the funding sources are studied: industry attribution and production profitability. The influence of the form of the business and the scale of an enterprise is evaluated. The role of the innovation funding sources is shown: federal budget funds, internal funds, loans and credits. Areas of development for funding highly innovative enterprises of the city are suggested. © 2019, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
