摘要
The 2D numerical model of an accumulative solar water heating unit is developed. The model was verified by comparing the modeling results with the 3D calculations and experimental data. The resulting pattern of flow made it possible to prove the validity of using the zone model to simulate the fluid flow in a solar water heating unit (SWHU) and suggest a simplified model of the unit, the calculation results for which agree with the numerical modeling results. © 2015, Allerton Press, Inc.
