A 14-year-old female patient presented with a restrictive ventilatory defect and vertigo. The symptoms can be explained as dysfunctional breathing due to an arthromyofascial ventilation disorder resulting from an orbitotemporal syndrome with segmental linkage. © 2016, Springer Medizin Verlag Berlin.
