摘要
Polyurethane with a low modulus of elasticity for implantation into soft tissues was synthesized. Polyurethane was treated with nitrogen ions with energy 20 keV, which created a graphite-like layer on the surface of thickness about 56 nm, with active free radicals on the edges of the graphite planes. This resulted in covalent binding of a monolayer of albumin on the treated polyurethane surface as a result of free radical reactions. © 2018, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
