Formulas are proposed for the dynamic characteristics of conical multipad hydrodynamic liquid-friction bearings with variable properties and a two-phase state of the lubricant: specifically, formulas for the rigidity and damping coefficients of the lubricant layer. © 2010 Allerton Press, Inc.
