摘要
The natural radionuclide content of construction materials, industrial wastes, and materials made from them from the Bryansk region were investigated. The activity and the emanation coefficient of the construction materials were measured with a semiconductor γ-spectrometer system. It was shown that a wide class of local construction materials is of first-class radiation quality and can be used in civilian construction without any restrictions. It was concluded that radon monitoring is mandatory, especially in construction materials containing industrial wastes (ashes, slags). 1 figure, 2 tables, 13 references.
