摘要
The effects of salary level and organizational level on possible bias in job evaluation were investigated in two studies. In Study 1, 328 undergraduates were provided with salary information, low or high, and then asked to generate a label for a job description before making job evaluation ratings. The effect of salary level on total points was mediated by perceived organizational level. In Study 2, 48 undergraduates were provided with salary level and organizational level information and rated perceived organizational and salary level and made job evaluation ratings. Perceived organizational level mediated the effect of manipulated organizational level on total points.
