Geotechnical centrifuge applications to foundations engineering teaching

摘要：
This article covers some applications of the centrifuge technique to be used in the geotechnical engineering teaching. After presenting some examples of the models carried out at the Universidad de los Andes by students of the foundation course as end-of-course projects, a proposal is presented for a new course based on the Learning By Doing methodology where the design and testing of the geotechnical works designed by the students are part of the teaching.
