Managing the operation of a prosumer installation by using an energy storage system

摘要
The article concerns the analysis of the work of low-voltage prosumer installation consisting of receivers and sources of electricity. The tested system imitates the electrical installation of a hypothetical customer, working with a variable load and variable energy production. The main technical problems related to the operation of such an installation are presented. The use of an electric energy storage system in the installation, whose purpose is to manage the active power of a prosumer installation, has been considered. The basic criterion of the system operation is the reduction of costs incurred by the owner. The efficiency of the energy storage system was tested by means of a simulation model developed in the PSCAD/EMTDC program. Sample results of the simulation are presented.
