Outlook for the creation of permanent solar EUV and soft X-ray radiation patrol

摘要
The variations of solar activity and their most effective manifestation - solar flares are the main cause of many events in the near-Earth space, ionosphere, atmosphere and even after a number of hypotheses, - in social sphere. The EW and particularly X-ray radiation flux shows the most large variations which can be registrated permanently only at satellites and spacecrafts. Such a monitoring of the most important solar events in the spectral range of 0.8-120 (125) nm does not exist at present,This fact is mainly due to the technological and methodological difficulties of the space measurements in that range of the spectrum. In this paper the project of Russia "The creation of the permanent space patrol of the EW and soft X-ray solar radiation" is presented. (C) 1998 COSPAR. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
