摘要
In the computational grid a large scale of resources are coupled together to solve resource-intensive problems. Resource management for grid computing faces the challenge of site autonomy, heterogeneous substrate, policy extensibility, co-allocation, and online control. A number of projects have been focused in this field. In the mean time, due to its numerous benefits CORBA is increasingly becoming the technology preferably chosen for designing and implementing large software architectures. It is the middleware standard, defining interfaces and services to build distributed applications. This paper exploits CORBA for constructing resource management system (RMS) and presents a scalable, portable resource management framework based on CORBA. Finally, the necessary future work is identified.
