摘要
Oscar Wilde was famous as a pioneer of Aestheticism. One of the major tenets of aestheticism is that art has nothing to do with morality, but Wilde' s works often show his concern for ethics and morality. By grasping the disparity between Wilde' s aesthetic theory and writing, Liu Maosheng' s The Ethics of Oscar Wilde' s Writings analyzes the ethical thoughts contained in Wilde' s works from the point of literary ethics, providing a new critical perspective for Wilde studies.
