摘要：
In this paper, we propose adaptive threshold canny edge detector, broken through the limitations of traditional canny that artificially fixes proportion of high and low thresholds. Firstly, based on the main contour extraction, the gradient histogram of the image is analyzed. Then using the amplitude that corresponds to the maximum number of gradient, and the parameter that measures the degree of discrete distribution represent the background of the gradient map to achieve the target object and background segmentation.
