摘要：
Building database and knowledge bases in support of Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence analysis presents some complex challenges. We overview some past efforts and conclude that typical conceptual models fall short of what is needed; that is, the types of data that can be represented in the knowledge base may not be all that is needed for the analysis. A proposal for an extended conceptual model is introduced, and its value for Counter-Terrorism efforts is discussed.
