The tourism sector as an engine of growth and economic recovery on the Costa del Sol

This article analyzes and compares the role of tourism has influenced at an economic and social level in the economy and in the structural change of Malaga and more specifically in the Costa del Sol since the beginning of this enclave as a point of global attraction for the reception of world travelers and how today and with the different crises that it has gone through in the last twenty years Spain has been modifying and adapting to the new lines and opportunities to continue growing and guide its economy to other more advanced and technological points. It has also been investigated how the crises and external factors to this sector such as economic and social cycles, have influenced both positively and negatively in this economic activity.
